Play therapy is a form of therapy used primarily for children (3-12 years old). That’s because children may not be able to process their own emotions or articulate problems to parents or other adults. Play Therapist can provide a safe environment where children can explore their feelings, thoughts, experiences and behaviors through the use of creative arts and play, without the fear of failure or judgement.
Jeanie has helped me immensely. After receiving therapy from Jeanie, we observed a massive difference in my child's behaviour. She also guided me and my husband in our parenting. We feel more confident in managing changes in future.
"My child was aggressive in school and he has toned down a lot after receiving play therapy. Jeanie was very proactive in giving me updates on our child's progress in therapy, which was incredibly useful for us parents in knowing how to support our child at home.
I was so worried about my child after my divorce. However, Jeanie has helped my child to understand what divorce is and to eventually cope with the changes. Thank you so much for journeying with us during this difficult period.
I see my child become more confident in himself after receiving play therapy. He is less worried about how people see him and more at ease to be his real self. His relationship with his peers has also improved.
